Real Madrid midfielder Zinedine Zidane admits the club's galaticos policy divided the dressing room.
Zidane is spending his final days as a player at Real and admitted former president Florentino Perez's phrase to describe the squad as of "Zidanes and Pavons" split the dressing room.
"It did hurt when he said that because I was within the group. The one of Zidanes and Pavones divided the dressing room. Also the one of the galacticos. That hurt," said the French great.
Zidane, who now has a World Cup to look forward to, also revealed it was Perez who convinced him to play on this season.

Robben's Dad and agent, Hans, told AS: "We have not spoken with anybody, but Madrid are one of the greatest clubs of Spain and of the world.
"By all means that is a good option, because if we left England it would be only for the Spanish Liga."
He added: "He has not played many games from the start. All players like to always be on the field. But you can't do anything about it."

AS Monaco are interested in Real Madrid coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro.
Monaco's Italian coach Francesco Guidolin is expected to leave the French club over the summer and Lopez Caro is among a shortlist of candidates being considered.
Lopez Caro will leave Real at the end of this season and has come to the notice of Monaco's board thanks to his agent, Gines Carvajal, who has a good relationship with ASM after negotiating Fernando Morientes' loan move from Real two seasons ago.

"We still do not know what will happen," said the Brazilian striker. "There will be elections for the presidency of the club and we do not know what will happen.
"But I have still two years on my contract. I will play the World Cup and, if the new president wants, I will be happy to stay with Real."
On his relationship with the Santiago Bernabeu fans, Ronaldo added: "I will try to convince them to support me."

Real Madrid are demanding AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti confirm their pre-contract agreement within seven days or they will turn to alternative candidates.
Despite denials from Milan and Ancelotti, AS says a pre-contract between the Italian and Real Madrid has existed for two months.
A Real powerbroker said today: "Ancelotti is a professional and it is normal that until the outcome of the Scudetto is known he will not say anything.
"But we know that the cycle he has created there is now over and that the challenge of Real Madrid is very attractive to him.
"If he wants to respect the signed contract, he will be our trainer next season."
Real insiders insist Ancelotti's comments last week that "there is no hope" of him coaching Real was due to pressure from vice-president Adriano Galliani, who insisted that all Madrid speculation be stopped for the sake of their Scudetto race with Juventus.

Real Madrid coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro waved away questions over whether he'll follow Zinedine Zidane out of the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of this season.
Reflecting on last night's 3-3 draw with Villarreal, Lopez Caro said: "I looked forward to this game with great expectancy regarding Zidane.
"The dream was he would play a great game - and he did. He has played a great game, including a goal, and the fans have been at their best. We would have liked to dedicate a victory to him."
Asked about his own future, the Real coach added: "I am focused on the game against Sevilla and to obtain second place. It is most important that Real Madrid obtain the Champions League place."
